I consider myself pretty darn lucky to have the job I do. I love what I do and cherish each moment I get to spend celebrating birthdays.
This past January, though, I realized I could no longer do it all by myself. I needed help, and I wanted to share what it was like to run a start-up non profit with someone who may be interested in traveling down this same road one day. I started thinking about an intern, and in February, I hired my very first intern! I learned quite a bit from her and drew on my own experience as an intern to create the best program I could and to be the best boss I could be.
I’m delighted to share that I am officially on the search for another intern! If you believe in the power of celebration, and are a hard, dedicated worker, I’d love to see you apply.
Your duties will be outlined for you, but will mainly consist of administrative tasks, social media marketing, and helping to execute birthday parties. We are more than happy to discuss giving credit hours for students, please reach out and let’s chat! Otherwise, you can expect a commitment of about 6-10 hours a week.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside the leadership of celebrate! RVA, discover what it is like to work in the non-profit sector, and get an inside look into the Richmond Public Schools.
If you’re interested in applying or have any questions, please send an email to email@example.com with some information about yourself along with your resumé!
